A rebellious vampire that kills its owner (the one that turned them to a vampire) may turn into a vampire lord. They overcame most vampiric weaknesses, and can even wander around freely in broad daylight. To completely kill a vampire lord, one must turn it into gaseous form through fatal damage and seal it in an air-tight enclosed box.
