Sub Epilogues
| <Sink and Swim> Apparently the warning from the blue-eyed merfolk was not to be ignored. After the massive storm hit, no one from the Widow of Love was to be seen again. You can only assume that the merfolk safely returned to their home, along with the sunken ship. |
| <The Aristocrats’ Luxury> The merfolk became nothing but items of luxury, used by wealthy aristocrats to boast their wealth. Which made sense, considering the amount of money used to maintain seawater aquariums required to keep the merfolk alive. They begged for their freedom, which of course could not reach the aristocrats’ ears. Parrie, Captain of the Widow of Love, piled up a great wealth from the merfolk he caught. Once he found out about the taste of money, he could not stop there. He went on a new voyage, to find more merfolk. But maybe he was cursed by the merfolk, as he was swallowed by the ocean, caught in a storm. |
| <The Return of the Queen> Madellin was able to repel the Kraken with the help of her bodyguards and you, also getting rid of the Kraken worshippers that were scattered around the underwater city. She got rid of the elder council that exiled her, reclaiming her throne and becoming the one and only monarch of the underwater city Ikene. |
| <Ikene, in the Calm Before the Storm> |drawing_underwaterCity| Madellin was able to repel the Kraken with the help of her bodyguards and you. But the Kraken was not killed, which meant the Kraken worshippers were still holding their ground, hidden around Ikene. The underwater city looked calm from the outside, but the merfolk were preparing their second clash with the Kraken, soon to come. |
| <Kraken’s Domination> The Queen of the Merfolk lost her life in the battle against the Kraken, and with the throne empty, the Kraken worshippers started to entrench their influence in Ikene. The Kraken continues to devour even larger amounts of tributes, sitting on an even bigger shrine dedicated to it. |
| <The Widow of Love> The Widow of Love now houses fish and corals instead of the sailors, just like other shipwrecks underwater. Parrie and his sailors too were swallowed by the ecosystem, never to be seen again. |
| <A Famous Captain> Parrie started to spread rumor about him meeting the merfolk, and defeating the Kraken with them. The gift from the merfolk served as his evidence. This brought him immeasurable fame as a captain, ultimately being funded directly by the royal palace. He has since set out on a voyage to the seas, in search of a new continentt. |
| <Scattered Around> Splitting the treasures of the merfolk equally, the sailors started to live their own lives. Some started their own business, and some started managing farms. Though their lives are now different, none of them ever returned to Levantium, as if having promised. |
| <Everything You Have!> The sailors of the Widow of Love failed to find anything of value, and Parrie had to satisfy them with a new way of making money. |drawing_pirate| So they chose to rob other ships. The public clicked their tongue at Parrie, who is now a pirate captain, saying that he should’ve been killed by the Kraken. |
| <Biding Time> Madellin, Queen of the Merfolk, had to run away after her defeat against the Kraken. With what’s left of her bodyguards, she returned to her search for the land dweller of the prophecy, that will defeat the Kraken. |
